Seal, Sevenoaks in Kent is the location of Stonepitts Farm where it sits at the foot of the North Downs with magnificent views over the beautiful Vale of Holmsdale that has been a local landmark for hundreds of years.

SUMMER - PICK YOUR OWN STRAWBERRIES AND RASPBERRIES

Strawberries - season, 4 to 5 weeks - now finished
Apart from a few berries from the late varieties, the strawberry crop is now virtually at an end and you are advised to call or email before visiting if that’s what you want to pick .

Raspberries - A bumper crop, season 6 to 7 weeks from mid June
This year we are having a record breaking crop from our canes of Tulameen and Glen Ample – both are subtly different and extremely tasty varieties for delicious eating, jam making or freezing (we eat them on Christmas Day !!). We also have an experimental row of tayberries.

Soft fruit growing: Educational visits for primary schools
Happy pickers from Plaxtol Primary SchoolFollowing on last years success and the big drive nationwide to improve our childrens' perception of eating fresh fruit and vegetables. We extended our invitation to all schools in the area to book a 1 hour slot to visit us, learn about the general workings of a fruit farm, the growing of soft fruit and in particular strawberries, sample the different varieties and pick for themselves a punnet to take home. There is ample parking for school buses, cars etc and the area is very safe and child friendly.

If you are interested in booking for this season please email us.
